Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman is being ‘hunted by Liverpool‘ as the prospect of a new contract with the German giants seems less likely.
That’s according to Le 10 Sport, who say the Frenchman is looking likely to reject any offers from Bayern to extend his deal.
They say that the Bundesliga champions would like to lock up Coman, whose contract expires in 2023, so will be entering its final year next summer.
That could put them in a delicate situation if he makes it clear he won’t be signing a new deal, as they’d have to sell to avoid losing him on a free transfer the following year.
And Le 10 say that at the minute, he is leaning towards avoiding signing a new deal and is eyeing up a move to the Premier League instead.
He is ‘dreaming’ of England, and that could be on offer with him currently being ‘hunted’ by both Liverpool and Manchester City.
Indeed, the website says he will ‘no trouble’ finding a place in the Premier League, hinting that both clubs have made it clear they’d be more than happy to sign him.
That seems hard to believe with Liverpool, given the finances that would be involved and their stringent spending in general, unless they are planning a major sale to finance a move.
That remains to be seen, but something tells us that we’ll be hearing a lot more of a potential move to Anfield for Coman in the coming months.
