After multiple articles of Hull City being interested in Angers winger Nicolas Pépé, we finally have news of a bid, with FootMercato in France, via their journalist Dahbia Hattabi on Twitter, reporting the news.
The young forward, who has impressed for the Ligue 1 side, despite them being in a relegation battle, is apparently the subject of a €9m + bonuses from Marco Silva’s side, who are also said to be tracking other players.

FootMercato claim the bonuses offered by Hull relate to a future sale, probably a percentage of the future fee or a percentage on potential profit, with the bid matching Angers’ valuation of the player.
Hattabi also adds the ball is now in the player’s court, and with alleged interest from Lyon and Marseille in Ligue 1 on top of Hull’s, two very reputable teams, he could have a tough decision to make on Tuesday.
Pépé has played 20 times for Angers this season, scoring three goals and picking up one assist.
He also earned his first cap for Ivory Coast this season, coming on in a 0-0 friendly draw against France.
