Standard Liège’s Noah Ohio is set to complete a move to Hull City in the winter market, according to multiple reports from Belgium.
Monday’s Het Belang van Limburg has a short report stating the 21-year-old will join the Tigers on a loan deal until the end of this season, without any option or obligation to buy.
This is backed up by Sudinfo, who claim Hull City were successful in getting ahead of other clubs in the transfer race.
The 21-year-old has clocked in 423 minutes from 16 games this season, scoring a goal in the process.
He’s attracted interest from several clubs, who wished to take him on loan with an option or obligation to buy. Standard Liège have also received offers to sign Ohio on a permanent transfer.
Despite all this, the Netherlands U21 international will be joining the Championship side on loan without a purchase option.
Hull City and the Jupiler Pro League side found a ‘common ground’ on Saturday for a dry loan deal. That’s because the latter are counting on the player for next season.
Sudinfo state a ‘complete agreement has been reached’ and this deal will go through once Ohio has carried out medical tests with Hull City at the ‘beginning of this week’.
