According to a claim in the Swedish media, Hull City midfielder Sebastian Larsson could be set for move back to his home country in the summer.
The Hull City star’s contract expires in June, and the former Sunderland player is said to be considering a move back to Sweden.
Expressen have today reported Swedish top flight club AIK have already made contact with Larsson with regards to joining them in the summer transfer window.
The 32 year old has spent his entire senior career playing in England, but after this summer’s World Cup in Russia it’s possible he’ll play in Sweden.
AIK can now speak to the Hull City player about a pre-contract agreement, and their sporting director Björn Wesström has confirmed their interest in the Swede.
Larsson only joined Hull City last summer after being released by Sunderland at the end of last season. The attacking midfielder has played 28 Championship games for the club this season, scoring 2 goals.
