With a big question mark over whether Nicolas Pepe will be able to join Hull City if the player decides to do so, the Tigers might have to look elsewhere this transfer window for the signing of a forward.
Hull are in desperate need of talent as they look to avoid relegation to the Championship this season following last year’s promotion, and have been one of the more active clubs this transfer window, already bringing in six players.
Five of those, including the purchase of Markus Henriksen, arrived before Tuesday, with Andrea Ranocchia arriving on transfer deadline day on loan from Inter Milan.
However, if France Football are to be believed, the club could be extremely busy in the late hours of the transfer window, with the French magazine reporting on their website that Marco Silva wants to bring in five to seven players before the end of today.
With only one in so far, that’s another four minimum in the next six hours.
Of course, that’s extremely doable if the transfers have been sorted out over the past few days, but from what we’ve seen, that’s extremely ambitious.
Especially if Nicolas Pepe doesn’t end up signing.
