Hull City are one of the clubs in the race to sign Paradou AC’s Adil Boulbina this summer.

That’s according to journalist Nabil Djellit, and he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report Hull City and other clubs’ efforts to try and secure the striker’s services.

The winger has starred for the Algerian club this season, scoring 18 goals and registering eight assists from 27 games in all competitions.

Hull City, Al-Duhail SC, Marseille and Real Betis are all said to have shown interest in the 22-year-old.

Real Betis didn’t make further progress after travelling to Algeria to watch him live. Stade Brestois and FC Lorient are also in the picture.

He adds the Tigers and the Qatari club have both made offers. Al-Duhail have appointed former Algeria coach Djamel Belmadi as their new manager and he’s been pushing to sign his compatriot.

The journalist reports the Middle East club are offering €3.5m while Hull City made three offers which reached €1.9m. ‘Qatar holds the rope at 80-90%’, but that doesn’t mean the Championship club don’t stand a chance.

According to Djellit, the attacker is yet to make a decision on his future, and Paradou AC prefer to sell him to Europe.
