Late on Thursday, Wolverhampton Wanderers announced they have completed the signing of Matheus Nunes for a ‘club record fee’.
The midfielder signed a five-year deal with the Premier League side, with an option to further extend it by 12 months.
Although Wolves confirmed the 23-year-old is their ‘club record’ signing, they didn’t give any insight about the figures of the operation.
Sporting, down their end, have made the details of the Portugal international’s transfer to Bruno Lage’s side public, through a statement released to Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários [CMVM].
As per this, the Primeira Liga side will receive a €45m fixed fee plus a potential €5m in bonus payments.
The bonuses will depend on Wolves taking part in the Champions League and the number of appearances made by Nunes. The Eagles will also receive 10% of any profit from a future sale.
CMVM also give an insight into the agent fee as well. Sporting state the representatives will receive €4,454,667, plus a ‘maximum variable’ of €494,963.
The clubs are splitting solidarity mechanism payments between them.
