Fotospor claim Galatasaray’s scouting team have made Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo a target ahead of the next window, but the Istanbul side could be priced out of a move for the player.
Gala are in the market for a central defender after Christian Luyindama was ruled out for the season due to a serious knee injury, and Kongolo is said to be an option for the Super Lig side.
According to Fotospor, Galatasaray are deciding between Lokomotiv Moscow’s Bryan Idowu and Kongolo, and they’ve informed the club’s hierarchy signing the Huddersfield Town man would be a wise move.
It’s reported the player is currently unhappy at Huddersfield Town, but the Championship side’s demands are proving to be an issue for Galatasaray at this stage.
The Terriers paid €20m to AS Monaco to sign him in 2017 and will want to recoup as much as possible.
His contract with the West Yorkshire side will expire at the end of June 2022.
