According to a claim in the German media, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Huddersfield Town are interested in Eintracht Braunschweig winger Onel Hernández.

German sports magazine Kicker report on Wolves and Huddersfield having serious interest in Hernández, but it’s unlikely the player will arrive in England this month.

Kicker report both Wolves and Huddersfield sent offers to Eintracht Braunschweig for Hernández, as the two clubs look to bolster their attacking options before the window closes.

However, Kicker say the Bundesliga 2 side are unwilling to let him go this summer, and the club’s sporting director Marc Arnold has refused the offers from Huddersfield and Wolves.

A winger of Cuban descent, Hernandez has represented Germany U18s side, and he’d been playing in VfL Wolfsburg’s second team until his move to Eintracht Braunschweig last year.

The attacker broke into Eintracht Braunschweig’s first team last season, and has gone on to make thirty league appearances for the club.
