Earlier today we covered a claim from Bild that Marvin Plattenhardt is interesting all of Everton, Leicester City, Watford, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Huddersfield Town.
It was the second time the German newspaper had mentioned the Premier League clubs named, having done the same in early July.
Plattenhardt is said to be edging closer to a move away from Hertha Berlin after featuring for Germany in a match at the World Cup, and it was stated he could leave when one of the English clubs offers €25m or more.
Now Germany’s Kicker have their own slant.
It’s claimed several English clubs are interested, but the only named is Huddersfield, and David Wagner is referenced as if he could be a factor.
Kicker say Hertha will sell for an offer well over €20m, with the club ready to listen to proposals for the left back which suit all parties.
Again, these feels very much like opportunism from Hertha Berlin.
