It’s been a few months since Liverpool started being linked to Olympiacos youngster Auigbou Camara, and the local media continues to be sure of the Reds’ interest in the player.
Speaking of Atalanta’s Europa League clash against the Greek club this week, Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web picked a specialised journalist to talk about the away side.
So they invited BnSports’ Notis Chalaris to speak of Olympiacos, and among the many questions they put to him, they asked about a player who the Serie A club should be careful about.
The journalist then named Camara, and besides pointing out his qualities, he recalled that Liverpool are one of the clubs in the race for his signing.
“Agibu Kamara is one of the players who can invent play from scratch,” Chalaris told Tutto Mercato Web.
“He is exceptionally talented and makes a big difference in the squad, which is why great teams like Liverpool and Milan like him.”
Liverpool’s interest in Camara was first reported in October, and then it was even claimed that the Reds would follow the player at the African Cup of Nations.
The 20-year-old winger, who joined Olympiacos on a move from Lille last summer, has six goals and five assists for the Greek side so far.
