Life without Jurgen Klopp has been going reasonably well for Liverpool and the club’s fans.
They’ve won all their three games in the Premier League so far and while there has been a slight style change from the Klopp era, Arne Slot is already imposing his ideas on the side.
From a more general perspective, a personality like Klopp is being missed but it seems as if the Liverpool legend might not be gone for too long.
Journalist Marcel Reif has now insisted that he believes the German will return to management in 2025.
He was speaking to BILD Football Talk, and the future of Klopp was a topic:
“He is not the type of person who will spend the next few years on the ‘finca’ in Mallorca thinking about the sense and nonsense of the world.”
Reif believes there is too much football desire in Klopp for him to stay away from management long term.
“I think there is still far too much of a coach in him. I’m betting that he will be working as a coach somewhere again in the foreseeable future. He will return in 2025.”
The German pundit was also asked about the clubs that the ex-Liverpool boss could join and he said:
“Abroad! He can also manage in the Premier League.”
Joining another Premier League club despite the bond he shared with the Reds might not be the most compelling idea for Klopp, who has said in the past that he would not manage another club in England.
So as things stand, his future probably lies away from the Premier League.
