We’ve got to give some credit to the Chilean media, they’ve been reporting on Manuel Pellegrini to West Ham since April.
Back then the links didn’t look so concrete, but over the past few days it’s become clear the Chilean media were right, and the Hammers have been in talks with the former Manchester City manager.
Last week it was reported in Chile that Pellegrini would fly into London today, with a deal to manage the club looking very likely indeed.
That flow continues with La Cuarta on Sunday.
The Chilean newspaper say Pellegrini is taking a hefty wage cut to move to West Ham from Hebei Fortune. Despite that, he’s been willing to make the move, wanting another shot at managing a team in Europe.
