We all know Jorginho’s agent doesn’t mind talking a lot about the Chelsea player’s future.
It’s quite normal to see him speaking to the Italian media, and despite always talking about the midfielder’s wish of renewing his contract with the Blues, there’s frequently some teasing regarding his return to the Serie A.
It’s no different today, as representative João Santos was at the Pallermo Football Conference. In the quotes brought by Tutto Mercato Web, the official didn’t name only one, but actually five clubs who could bring the player back to the country.
“For him, playing in Serie A is a dream. His heart is there. Today he can play in 4/5 teams: Milan, Inter, Juve, Roma or Napoli,” said João Santos (via TMW).
Regarding the links with Juventus, which he confirmed the interest of a couple of weeks ago, João Santos still pointed out a few more clubs from abroad who have been interested in the Chelsea star.
“I know Cherubini from his experience at Foligno, but there are many clubs who are interested in him. In the past I spoke with PSG, Barcelona and also with Massara from Milan. I know if they want it now. I talk to Massara too. But I don’t know if they are still interested.”
Still, as usual, the agent ended up claiming that the midfielder’s renewal with Chelsea will be worked on, even though it should still take a few months until the talks start.
“The reality is that nothing can be done right now. Chelsea cannot sell, buy or renew contracts. Jorginho still has a contract until June 2023: after the World Cup we will try to work on its renewal.”
