Mihailo Ivanovic has been key for Millwall in recent weeks.
He has five goals in all competitions and three of those goals have come in the last six Championship games.
As a result, he has started each of Millwall’s last ten games and is rising in stature, having joined the club from Vojvodina in the summer of 2024.
The 20-year-old’s agent Vlado Borozan has now spoken to Tuttomercatoweb about the Serbian’s rise in the Championship and his future at the London club.
He revealed that leaving Millwall quickly will be difficult for Ivanovic.
He said: “Taking him away from England now will be a difficult task, he is increasing his numbers and with them also his value. He is physical and knows how to score goals, he is twenty years old, he would certainly be worth it.”
Speaking further about potential interest from Italian clubs, Borozan said:
“Many clubs in Italy could think about Ivanovic, having established himself in a very difficult league like the Championship. Of course, for those who want to take him he will not be cheap.”
While they may not be able to earn promotion this season, keeping their best players like Ivanovic at the Den will be crucial to fighting for promotion next season.
The youngster is only into his first season in England and he will only grow further and score more goals. Millwall will hope that he does that for them, and perhaps they can later cash in… as the player’s agent may be planning.
