Pep Guardiola is ‘willing to do anything’ to get Isco to Manchester City this summer, report Spanish imagirumour website Don Balon.

Even for Don Balon, this is eyebrow raising because within the past couple of weeks they’ve already claimed Guardiola has gone off Isco and would much prefer Marco Asensio if he had to pick a Real Madrid player to take to Manchester.

But that doesn’t make a good Isco story and with the Spaniard scoring a hat-trick for his country this week, there was always going to be some mileage got out of things on a rumour front.

According to the claims, so keen are Manchester City that they’re willing to dangle Gabriel Jesus in front of Real Madrid to try and tempt the Spanish club to do a deal.

With claims from Brazil this week that Gabriel and City haven’t yet been able to agree on the terms of a new contract, that’s given some encouragement to this new rumour.

It’s all within the realms of possibility, and as far as Don Balon go it’s not their most ridiculous type of claim. For Manchester City perhaps the real message to take is that without a renewal, rumours are going to build around Gabriel Jesus, especially with the World Cup ahead.
