It seems that Torino will never lose their hope of getting Joe Hart from Manchester City after the end of the season.
The goalkeeper, who’s been playing for the Italian side on loan since the last summer, is much liked by the club and has convinced them he deserves to stay.
Initially, a permanent transfer was almost out the question. Torino don’t have much money to compete with big European clubs, so the loan was the best they could get.
But as reported by Tuttosport today, Pep Guardiola’s decision over Hart’s future may give Torino a good chance to keep him.
The newspaper claims that the Catalan manager has no intention to bring him back to Manchester City, and a transfer to big Premier League clubs is not an idea much liked either.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are the clubs said to be linked to him, and that’s exactly the kind of competition that Torino would not like to have.
But if Guardiola really blocks a transfer to these clubs, then the Italian side might have a chance. It’s said that the goalkeeper’s price is of around €15m, which is a reasonable price for Torino.
They will just have to wait and see how big are the dogs joining this battle now.
