Manchester City are one of a number of clubs named as L’Equipe run yet another big feature on the future of Kylian Mbappe. PSG are now interested in the AS Monaco player, which makes it an even bigger story in France, but City are one of several other top level clubs said to be trying to sign the player.

The French newspaper say Manchester City are preparing for a ‘completely crazy’ summer, and they’ll spend in excess of €300m in the transfer market.

Pep Guardiola is said to be ‘absolutely convinced’ Mbappe is the ‘missing element’ in his Manchester City side, the difference between top four and champions, and genuine success on a European level.

Manchester City used the Bernardo Silva talks to also discuss Mbappe, say L’Equipe, again, and an offer of around €120m was nudged forward. Now it’s time to convince the player, and Guardiola plans to speak to him personally after Mbappe leaves the France squad this week.

If Guardiola is convincing, then L’Equipe think it’ll be hard to stop Mbappe signing for Manchester City.
