Leicester City are in the picture to sign Real Valladolid’s Juma Bah in the winter market.
That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who state Leicester are closely monitoring the 18-year-old.
The defender arrived at the La Liga side on a loan deal from Sierra Leone’s AIK Freetong in the summer and has been a regular since September. He clocked in 728 minutes from 10 appearances in all competitions, and it includes eight starts.
Estadio’s title says there’s ‘growing interest’ in the centre-back and Leicester City are named as one of the interested parties.
Bah’s ‘progression, strength and aerial play’ are the qualities that make him an interesting prospect for the future.
It’s claimed the Foxes and Newcastle United are the ‘first teams’ to have the player on their agenda. On Wednesday, Sportitalia stated Real Valladolid had rejected the Magpies’ bid for Bah.
Cadena Ser earlier stated Real Valladolid have an affordable buying option and are likely to exercise it.
Estadio relay it and then state the Spanish club would like to retain Bah until the end of this season but are also willing to listen to any offers they’ll receive for him in January.
There’s no mention of the fee needed to convince Real Valladolid in the winter market and if the Foxes are willing to convert their interest into an offer for Bah.
