Wolverhampton Wanderers continue to be linked to Universidad de Chile youngster Dario Osorio, and the Molineux side now get another mention in a story about the 18-year-old.

This time, the South American media is covering quotes from Patricio Ormazabal, manager of Chile’s U-20 squad, who spoke to ESPN about the player.

“Without a doubt Darío has great potential. We met him last year in a micro cycle that we had, he came with a lower category with the U17, we saw him and talked to Hernán Caputto so that he could train with the U20,” Ormazabal told ESPN’s F90 (via Bolavip).

So when covering the quotes, Bolavip points out that Osorio hasn’t only been succeeding for La U, but also been approached by ‘many clubs in Europe’, with Wolves mentioned along with the likes of Brighton and Sassuolo.

It was at the start of this week that reports from Chile claimed Bruno Lage’s side have a €5m agreement with Universidad de Chile for the transfer of Osorio. It was said there was ‘at least a verbal deal’ between the clubs.

However, no big developments have been reported since then, with the Chilean media now taking it mostly as a regular rumour about the player’s move to Europe. So, as usual, we need to wait and see if those claims were true or not.
