Sevilla star Jules Koundé is likely to push for a move away from the club if Chelsea make a serious offer for him.
That’s according to Mucho Deporte, who cover the situation around Sevilla today and why this transfer window is proving to be a difficult one for them.
Koundé has been heavily linked with a move away from Sevilla this summer after establishing himself as one of the hottest prospects in world football over the last two years.
Sevilla are happy to sell so long as they get a top price for him, believed to be in the range of €80m, but as of yet, no clubs have offered such a figure.
That’s frustrating for the Spanish club as they are relying on such a sale to do their own business.
Mucho Deporte say there is no ‘great offer’ for Koundé as yet, but if one were one to arrive from Chelsea, it would ‘surely cause’ the player to ‘start pushing to leave.’
It seems that any chances of Koundé leaving are utterly dependent on Chelsea making a serious move for him at some point this summer.
Whether they are willing to do so remains to be seen, with the Blues transfer business this summer yet to really get going.
