Hull City, Middlesbrough and Luton Town are all in the picture to sign IF Elfsborg’s Michael Baidoo in the summer window.
The 25-year-old has been a regular for the Swedish club since joining them from Sandnes Ulf in 2022 and has managed 17 goals and 11 assists from 65 games, including three goals and two assists this year.
Fotboll Direkt say Hull City, Middlesbrough and Luton Town are among the clubs that ‘want to buy’ him in the summer window.
The Ghanaian was on the radar of clubs in England, Belgium and the Netherlands during the winter market, and continues to be a ‘hot name’ for several European sides.
It’s claimed there’s still great interest’ in the player from Hull City, Middlesbrough, Luton Town, Maccabi Haifa, Ludogorets, Ferencvaros and NEC Nijmegen.
His current deal lasts until December 2025 and Fotboll Direkt claim a fee of around €2-4m is needed to convince Elfsborg to sanction his sale.
Several clubs have ‘already lined up’, but there’s no mention of who is currently leading the race, and if the Championship duo or Luton Town are willing to pay the fee needed to sign Baidoo in the next window.
