As you well know, there is some uncertainty about Arsenal’s strike force beyond the current campaign, with both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette linked with a move away from the club.

The former has yet to sign a contract extension with his current deal expiring next year, while the latter has seen his name associated with moves to the likes of Juventus and Atlético Madrid.

There’s no guarantee either will leave, but if they do, Arsenal have some names they will look at to replace the goals lost in the process of a sale, including Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Raúl Jiménez.

It’s Le10 Sport reporting this on Friday, claiming the Mexico international is ‘part of the list’ of players Mikel Arteta and co. have drawn up should one of Aubameyang or Lacazette leave.

He’s already proven himself in England’s top flight since initially joining Wolves from Benfica on loan, which led to the Molineux side stumping up £34.2m last summer to make the move permanent.

The striker has since repaid Nuno Espírito Santo’s side with 26 goals and 10 assists in 52 league games, which is a rather impressive striker rate.

Le10 say there’s ‘great chances’ Jiménez gets sold this summer, and while Juventus are ‘attentively watching him’, so are Arsenal.
