It appears that Everton are about to make their first sale of the summer transfer window very soon in what has been a pre-agreed deal.

This comes courtesy of Mohamed Toubache-Ter in France, who took to Twitter to bring the latest surrounding Niels Nkounkou, currently on loan at Saint-Etienne.

The Everton defender has been in incredible form since arriving at the Ligue 2 side in January after his loan at Cardiff was cut short, to the point where it quickly became clear that the French side would likely try and keep hold of him.

While it wasn’t announced at first, it was eventually revealed that the deal included a small option to buy, which Saint-Etienne are now set to trigger.

Toubache-Ter states that there’s a ‘very, very, very good feeling’ about a potential transfer going through for the Everton man, although he was quick to reply to a fan to make it clear that’s all he knew.

There had been talk that Saint-Etienne could try and sell Nkounkou for a profit off the back of the purchase, which is now a big worry for their fans.

Anything beyond the transfer, however, does not concern Everton.
