Calciomercato today report that Nikola Vlasic isn’t keen on returning to Everton when his loan at CSKA Moscow comes to an end.
That’s no surprise, the player’s own comments have suggested as much, as has news said to be coming from sources close to him. There’s been some annoyance at how things worked out at Goodison Park and the danger of returning to a similar situation is one the footballer seeks to avoid.
‘The goal is goodbye’ says Calciomercato, and Vlasic, rather than looking to stay longer with CSKA, would be looking at a move to Serie A or La Liga. He watched those leagues as a child and feels they’d suit him better than the Premier League.
Helpfully for Vlasic, there’s Italian interest.
Calciomercato report AC Milan and their neighbours Inter Milan are keen, and both have initiated contact over a transfer. It’s not explained exactly who that contact is with, but it’s presumably the player’s camp.
For Everton it now looks a case of trying to get their invested money back and a potential profit on the player, given his success in Russia.
