Marca report Manchester United have given a straight ‘no’ to the idea of selling Paul Pogba to Real Madrid this summer, but that doesn’t mean the issue is over.
Pogba is pressing for the transfer, convinced he needs to leave Old Trafford this summer.
The Spanish newspaper explains the desire of Zinedine Zidane to get his compatriot to Madrid, and that Florentino Perez wants to ‘please’ his manager, but is aware of the stance at Old Trafford.
Marca makes a point of talking about the player’s commercial value, detailing his current trip to Asia, and adding that the marketing team would be rubbing their hands with the idea of signing the Frenchman.
In claims which sound a little far-fetched, it’s stated the Glazer family have put their foot down and ‘informed’ Mino Raiola they consider Pogba essential and won’t be negotiating a sale.
The player himself, for now, ‘discards any measures of force’.
PSG are said to be attentive to the situation.
