Liverpool travel to a currently snowy Germany this week as they get ready to face Bayern Munich in the second-leg of their Champions League tie.

With the score remaining 0-0 after 90 minutes at Anfield, the tie is very much open.

Bild report that Robert Lewandowski was absent from training on Monday morning. They don’t know absolutely why, and it’s explained he didn’t pick up an injury against Wolfsburg and was in good spirits when leaving the game.

They suggest he may have been given some rest ahead of the match, but have no information at this stage to back that up.

It’s explained Nico Kovac wants to ‘surprise’ Jurgen Klopp with his team selection. Kingsley Coman was back in training, having been out of action for two weeks, and he could be the man tasked with the ‘surprise’ against Liverpool.

If not, Franck Ribery could be given an opportunity to roll the years back.
