Pierre-Michel Lasogga remains in England and remains waiting for news on the birth of his child. The Leeds United player returned to Hamburg last week, hoping the baby would be born, but Hamburger Morgenpost say there’s no update yet.
With the baby not arriving, Lasogga was able to travel back to England to play in the Championship game against Millwall. Unable to save Leeds United from a 1-0 defeat, fans will be doubly hoping Lasogga can be available against Burnley on Tuesday.
Leeds travel to Burnley on Tuesday for the EFL Cup, and there’s some extra meaning to the match given the transfer of Chris Wood. There’s also Charlie Taylor’s move from Elland Road to Burnley which will all help add to the atmosphere and rivalry.

There’s few things Leeds United fans would like more than Lasogga firing them to victory over Burnley, and as far as the Hamburger Morgenpost are aware, there’s no reason right now why he wouldn’t be available.
Lasogga’s girlfriend is still awaiting the baby’s decision to arrive, and until there’s an update in that respect, the Leeds United loanee won’t be flying back to Hamburg.
