The German media simply won’t accept that Sead Kolasinac has already signed for Arsenal. They believe Arsenal have a good chance, indeed it was SportBild who first reported them returning to the table a few weeks ago, but are insistent nothing is done.
It’s perhaps worth listening to SportBild on this one, because just as others were catching up with magazine’s reporting of a huge Everton offer, SportBild themselves had brought Arsenal back in.
Kolasinac’s father has himself denied anything has been finalised with any club, and given there’d be nothing stopping an announcement, he may not be lying.
In their magazine this week, SportBild explain that the day after Schalke were knocked out of the Europa League by Ajax, Kolasinac held a meeting with a family member and advisor. The topic up for discussion was which club to choose, and remember this reported meeting happened after the claims of an Arsenal signed contract.
Once again, SportBild state Arsenal, Manchester City, and AC Milan are best placed. The Italian club’s recent takeover finally going through has given their chances a boost.
Nevertheless, SportBild believe English football suits Kolasinac, which helps Manchester City and Arsenal. Leroy Sane being a good friend of the player is seen as a boost for Pep Guardiola and City, but Arsenal ‘are not off the table’.
Despite everything that has been claimed, the German media don’t believe Kolasinac has made his mind up yet.
