With the winter transfer window appearing on the horizon, some will be glad to see the back of it, so they get started on the biggest rumours ahead of next summer.

Usually, although not exclusively, football’s biggest transfer sagas are saved for the summer, and that’s likely to be the case with Jadon Sancho.

Borussia Dortmund were set against a sale in the last market, and the feeling has been they’ll be ready to accept a big fee when July arrives. Several Premier League clubs have been linked, with Liverpool again dragged into the equation recently.

Bild pick that up and say, according to their own information, that Jurgen Klopp remains interested in Sancho, having been keen on the player before he left Manchester City.

Back then, the manager was aware Liverpool wouldn’t be able to sign the youngster from a Premier League rival, and now things are different.

Naturally, Bild say Klopp ‘has the best contacts’ at Dortmund given his time at the club, which would be an advantage for the Reds.

BVB want ‘at least’ €140m.

Liverpool don’t really need Sancho, yet it’s certainly an idea to keep in mind should Mohamed Salah decide on a new adventure.
