Bayern Munich have signed a Chelsea ‘jewel’ report Bild on Tuesday afternoon, although it’s not the main one they were aiming for.
The Bundesliga champions have been very interested in signing Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is currently out with an Achilles injury.
Last week they again suggested that a move to Bayern is what the 18 year old wants, despite a rush of the club’s fans insisting those claims are nonsense and a renewal is close at Stamford Bridge.
The player they have managed to sign is Jamal Musiala.
Bild call him a ‘Chelsea gem’ and a ‘mega-talent’, it’s explained the youngster is very highly rated by the Premier League club, with the insinuation being they won’t have wanted to lose him.
Interestingly, Musiala is represented by Bradley Hudson-Odoi, Callum’s 18 year old brother, with the further insinuation this could all represent some wider relationship and potentially impact on the older player’s future.
Musiala is said to have been at Bayern today and will sign a five year contract with the club.
