Niclas Fullkrug is attracting the interest of clubs in England, insist German newspaper Bild.

The Hannover striker has put in a good season for his club, notching 15 goals and three assists, and it’s that which has caught the eye of both Premier League and Championship clubs.

From the teams in the Championship this season, before promotion, Bild say Aston Villa, Cardiff City and Fulham are all keen. Those sides are said to have the player on their list for the summer, along with Premier League clubs Leicester, Newcastle and Watford.

Wolfsburg are also presented as keen, and whilst the 25 year old has had a good season, it may be a stretch to fully believe all these clubs see Fullkrug as someone they want to sign during the next window.

On a contract until June 2020, Fullkrug has no buyout clause at Hannover, meaning they can ask what they want. This seems to excite Bild who state the club could get ‘double figures’, which would be €10m.

Cardiff, Fulham and Aston Villa would have no problem with such a fee, but it’s likely Fullkrug is just one of several considerations. On the long list.
