Despite struggling to have much of an impact at Fiorentina this season, it appears the Serie A side are counting on Rachid Ghezzal going forward.
By that, we mean they want to keep the Leicester City loanee in Florence until the end of the current campaign, as the Italian league still has 10 games to go.
Fiorentina are currently 14th in the table, and while they recently lost 2-1 to second placed Lazio, Ghezzal had a good outing for La Viola.
The club aren’t in any real danger of getting relegated, but it appears they still want the Algeria international around until the beginning of August, which will be their last game against SPAL.
It’s all already sorted, according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who explain Fiorentina got ahead of the curve and have ‘already resolved all issues’ when it comes to their loans.
They state a ‘full agreement’ has been found with Leicester City for Ghezzal, and he, alongside Milan Badelj and Dalbert, ‘will all end the season in Florence’.
