Fulham youngster Nicolás Santos is completing his move back to Racing Santander, according to reports from the Spanish media.
AS claims that the player has already joined the La Liga side’s squad, and only needs to sign the paperwork so the transfer can be made official.
The 20-year-old even had the same Covid-19 test as the rest of the squad, and is ready to play for them in the upcoming season.
The report says Nicolás Santos agreed to a one-year deal with Racing Santander, with the player’s contract at Fulham expiring this season.
It’s said he’s initially joining the academy squad, but should have chances to feature for the first team, depending on his performances.
Nicolas Santos left Racing Santander’s youth ranks back in 2016 to join Fulham on a free move. But in these four years, he could never make his debut for the Craven Cottage side, and has now returned to his former club to try and get the minutes he needs to continue his development.
