Two days ago, Gianluca Di Marzio reported Fulham have initiated contact with Bologna over a potential deal for Riccardo Orsolini.
This is backed up Calciomercato, who state the 26-year-old received a call from the Premier League side.
It’s claimed Fulham have made first contact and are now considering whether to take further steps to secure the winger’s services.
The Italy international’s contract expires in 2024 and the report states there’s ‘no agreement on the horizon’ for his renewal. Therefore, a sale this summer seems to be the ‘most obvious solution’.
There’s hope his arrival would help the club to carry out signings as they are seeking at least four new additions. Orsolini and Nicolás Domínguez’s sales would also help them with this.
The newspaper states Orsolini’s agent Michelangelo Minieri had a meeting with Bologna over his client’s future on Friday.
Fulham’s interest gets a mention and Corriere di Bologna say they should ‘soon present a first official’ of ‘double-digit’ for the attacker. This indicates Marco Silva’s side should table a bid of €10m or more.
The London club are not alone in the race but the report doesn’t mention the details of other interested parties.
Orsolini scored 11 goals and registered four assists from 34 games last season.
