Reports from the Italian media now claim that Fulham and AS Roma have an agreement for the transfer of Justin Kluivert.
The latest claims are made by Francesco Balzani on CentroSuonoSport (via Forza Roma), saying that the negotiation ‘has been unlocked’ in the last few hours.
Fulham and Roma reportedly shook hands for a loan with an obligation to buy, depending on the player’s number of appearances for the Whites this season.
It’s said there’s ‘white smoke nearby’, even though it’s not said how much the Craven Cottage side will need to pay for the deal.
This week, other reports had already been saying the negotiations for Kluivert had been developing. In France, Foot Mercato even claimed that the player had said ‘yes’ to a move to Fulham, who’d now need to reach an agreement with Roma.
Meanwhile, with Benfica and Sporting also interested in the signing, the Portuguese media had also been talking about the case, always pointing out that the player was more likely to choose the Premier League, partly because the Whites would be able to provide the desired level of salary.
