Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić is edging towards a move to Al Hilal SFC if the latest reports from Italy are to be believed. The Serbia international could be joined by his compatriot and Fulham striker, Aleksandar Mitrović.
That’s according to Serbia’s Informer, who say the Saudi Arabian club have ‘sent an offer’ of around €40m to Marco Silva’s side.
It’s further claimed the Fulham star has been offered a three-year deal worth €25m per season.
Sources close to the 28-year-old have told Informer that he’s ‘very close’ to accepting Al Hilal’s offer but hasn’t informed them of his final decision yet.
Recent claims have talked about interest from a few English clubs. The outlet says none of the European clubs will be able to match what Al Hilal are offering him.
The Riyadh club have already signed Kalidou Koulibaly and Rúben Neves from Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively. Milinković-Savić is getting closer to joining them and now Mitrović’s final decision is awaited.
The former Newcastle man’s deal lasts until 2026. There’s no mention whether Fulham are ready to part ways with the player who managed 15 goals and four assists from 28 games last season.
