Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz is not keen on a move to his home country this summer, the Brazilian media says.
Despite recent reports claiming South American sides have been making approaches for his transfer, Torcedores today come up with an update about that.
The website claims that Muniz ‘doesn’t think’ about going to Brazil right now, as his idea is to ‘stay in England’.
It’s reported that the Fulham striker seeks a ‘better adaptation’ to the Premier League and also looks forward to having British citizenship. The story claims that for that to happen, he’d need to stay there for three years, although in reality it’s actually five.
According to Torcedores, Muniz has also turned down approaches from France, Italy, Poland and Portugal, as his focus is really to stay in the country.
That doesn’t mean he’ll be in Fulham’s squad for the season, though. The report claims manager Marco Silva is still to take a decision on whether to keep him.
Muniz spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough, and with only two goals in 17 appearances, he didn’t leave a good impression there.
Reports from Brazil say Fulham request €10m for his sale.
