On June 27th, Foot Mercato reported Fulham are keen on signing AC Milan’s Fodé Ballo-Touré.
Later that day, claims from Italy stated the Premier League side had initiated contact and developments were expected over a potential deal for the left-back. It was also explained that €4m is needed to take him away from the San Siro.
Gianluca Di Marzio now provides the latest on this case as Fulham seem to have made progress in their chase for the 26-year-old.
Stefano Pioli has left Ballo-Touré out of the squad for Milan’s pre-season tour to the US and that’s because the player has received several offers.
It’s claimed the fullback has offers from Fulham, OGC Nice and Bologna. The latter two have already shown concrete interest and will have to compete with Marco Silva’s side in the race to sign Ballo-Touré.
The details of the proposals made by the trio aren’t mentioned. Di Marzio says ‘it’s hours of reflection’ for the player, who will ‘have to decide’ between the three offers.
The Frenchman clocked in over 500 minutes from 10 league games and made four more appearances in the Champions League last season, where he was providing cover to Theo Hernández.
