Fulham are keen on bolstering their defence and have already identified Benfica’s Morato as a target.
Three days ago, claims from Portugal stated the Premier League side have promised to return with an improved bid after seeing the Eagles turn down their earlier offers for the defender.
Maisfutebol now state Fulham have taken that step by making a ‘decisive’ offer of €25m to acquire the centre-back’s services.
In addition to this, Marco Silva’s side have also improved the offer to the 22-year-old, which would see him nearly quadruple his wages.
After Fulham made the latest proposal to both Benfica and the Brazilian, it’s claimed the latter is keen to take up this opportunity this summer. Therefore, the report states he has asked his employer to accept the bid made by the London club.
Maisfutebol say Silva has requested the English club to sign the South American. Fulham started the negotiations with a €10m bid and have already seen four offers get rejected by the Portuguese club in recent days.
Silva’s side are now hoping for Benfica to accept their latest offer of €25m.
