Jozabed looks like he’s close to leaving Fulham on a permanent basis. Signing from Rayo Vallecano in August of last year, Jozabed was unable to impress to the level which had encouraged Fulham to sign him in the first place.

Despite originally signing a three year contract with Fulham, it was no surprise when Jozabed left during the winter transfer window, returning to Spain on loan with Celta Vigo.

The 26 year old has managed to impress Celta Vigo enough to make them seriously want to sign him. An offer of €3.5m has been made by the Galician side, report Marca, and that’s just €500k from Fulham’s €4m asking price.

The Spanish newspaper say Fulham are asking for €4m because that’s what Rayo Vallecano received for Jozabed last summer, although the transfer fee undisclosed at the time. Should Fulham manage to get the full €4m back then it looks to be a good deal.

Even €3.5m doesn’t sound too bad.
