Fulham were credited with an interest in Youssouf Sabaly in January 2019, but they failed to get the deal over the line.

Foot Mercato now claims Bordeaux will offload a few players in the winter market and the 26-year-old is included in the list. The Cottagers once again get a mention and it’s claimed Fulham’s €12m offer last year came in late, which is why the French club couldn’t respond.

According to the report, the fullback is once again offered to clubs in England and this includes the Championship side, along with Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton.

The Senegal international’s current deal with the Ligue 1 side runs down in 2021 and Foot Mercato explains Bordeaux are demanding a fee of around €15m to open the exit door in January.

Even though Sabaly is offered to Fulham, Palace, Brighton and the Saints, there’s no mention if any of these clubs have responded or expressed their interest in the player.

Sabaly is also of interest to clubs in the Bundesliga and La Liga.
