The past few days have seen Lazio’s Nuno Tavares linked with an exit from the club and now Fulham and Everton have emerged as candidates to land the Portuguese.
The left-back has assisted eight times in Serie A this season but has been plagued by injuries, with Lazio looking to sign the defender from Arsenal on a permanent basis soon enough.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported on Tavares’ future and states Fulham and Everton are interested in the Gunners’ loanee, with Juventus also a potential candidate to land him as well.
The report doesn’t provide an indication for when Lazio will sign the player permanently, but it has been reported in recent days that a deal will happen. The Roman club will then look to sell the left-back in the summer and earn a profit from the sale.
Everton and Fulham ‘have expressed interest’ in signing him and will look to move for him during the upcoming transfer window.
Arsenal have a sell-on clause of 40% in the deal.
