It’s certainly been a roller-coaster deadline day in Fulham’s pursuit of a new striker. first came reports from Spain that Fulham were willing to match Sergi Enrich’s €10m buyout clause.

That all sounded very promising but it was quickly apparent that Eibar would make a transfer as difficult as possible, not wanting to lose Enrich so close to the end of the transfer window.

After a little digging Sport Witnes were informed by someone close to the possible deal that it was on the rocks as Eibar insisted Enrich pay the clause himself, which can bring tax difficulties and it’s a little too complicated for deadline day.

It seems Fulham have quickly moved on, because according to L’Equipe, they’ve agreed a deal to sign 21 year old Aboubakar Kamara from Ligue 2’s Amiens. The transfer fee is not disclosed by L’Equipe but they believe the player should join Fulham in the next few hours.
