Over the weekend, the Daily Mail in England reported Leeds United are tracking Slavia Prague’s Nicolae Stanciu.

The 27-year-old has been a regular figure in the Czech side this season, and has managed four goals and 12 assists in all competitions.

Calciomercato.it explains the forward’s impressive performances for Slavia Prague have not gone unnoticed.

The Romania international is managed by SPOCS Global Sports, and the outlet states mid-table Serie A clubs have approached the agency’s Italian representatives, Massimo Montaruli and Nicola Autizi.

According to the report, Romanian side CFR Cluj and several English clubs are also chasing Stanciu.

From the Premier League, only Marcelo Bielsa’s side get a mention. It’s claimed the Whites are keen on the attacker, and the website further adds Leeds are ‘in the front row’.

Stanciu has three more years left on his Slavia Prague contract, and Calciomerctao.it say the player’s value is around €8m.

Time should tell whether or not Leeds will take advantage of being ahead of other clubs, in completing a deal for Stanciu.
