Johannes Hoff Thorup and Glen Riddersholm were shown the door at Norwich City in April, with both speaking out since about their shock. The pair were pitched on a three year project at the Canaries and felt they’d been working towards that goal, feeling that was what the club wanted.
Norwich City obviously didn’t see the progress they required, so a change was made. That left both available for new jobs. Claims from Denmark recently stated Johannes Hoff Thorup has been in talks with Queens Park Rangers about filling their managerial vacancy.
Marti Cifuentes was edged out of Queens Park Rangers at the end of April, after his agents spoke to West Bromwich Albion about taking the job there. Since then, QPR have been on a search and Tipsbladet report that saw them hold talks with the former Norwich City coach.
In an update, Tipsbladet now state Johannes Hoff Thorup has rejected the chance to take over at QPR. He travelled to London for talks and the situation had been ongoing since then, but now he’s decided that the QPR opportunity isn’t for him.
