With all the claims circulating in Germany that Leroy Sané is getting closer to his move to Bayern Munich, other outlets are jumping on the rumour, like France Football.
On paper, the magazine have few links to the saga, being a French outlet talking about a German player leaving England for a Bundesliga club.
However, they claim to have their own information on the matter, stating Sané will leave Manchester City for a fee of €110m.
On top of that, he will become the best paid player in Bundesliga history, with a pre-tax wage packet of €18m/year, beating his soon to be teammate Robert Lewandowski’s €16m.
It’s said Sané ‘weighed the pros and the cons’ of the move for a long time, asking both clubs for time to reflect on the matter, before now giving the green light to Bayern Munich to seal the move.
Apparently, he hesitated because his partner would have preferred to stay in Manchester, but was eventually convinced by the Bavarian’s arguments.
