It wouldn’t be the end of a French transfer window without Celtic’s Moussa Dembele being linked with a move to Ligue 1, and usually with a move to Marseille.
For some time the French club have been in search of a striker who can become a big star for them, and Dembele has been linked more than most of the supposed targets.
France’s RMC report on Monday afternoon that Dembele is ‘seduced’ by the idea of playing for Marseille.
To push that point further, it’s claimed the Celtic player is ‘very interested’ in the move, and RMC say that’s because he’s keen to play for the club in Europe and also to be alongside the quality already in the team, with Morgan Sanson and Dimitri Payet named.
Marseille haven’t yet made an offer for the player, according to the claims, but are said to be in contact with him.
RMC say Celtic are ‘ready to talk’ about the potential transfer.
