France’s RMC report Tottenham have reached a £30m agreement to sell Mousa Dembele to a Chinese club this summer.
The midfielder has been linked with a string of Serie A sides in recent weeks, but the problem has always been the same. Tottenham have wanted more from the sale than those interested have been prepared, or able, to pay.
Whilst it’s stated as fact that a Chinese club has offered the amount, and Tottenham have accepted the deal in principle, the name of that club hasn’t been shared.
Now the decision is down to Dembele and it’s thought he’ll wait until the end of the World Cup before deciding anything. Not only does the Spurs midfielder want to concentrate on the task at hand with Belgium, he also wants to see what other offers appear over the next few weeks.
The player’s agent is said to be ‘probing’ other markets and seeing what will be available for Dembele to choose from.
