Swansea City and Southampton are interested in signing French midfielder Yoric Ravet, reports L’Equipe. The 27-year-old plays for Swiss club Young Boys, and signed for them only 12 months ago.
L’Equipe say Swansea and Southampton have made enquiries over the situation of Ravet, but Young Boys are reluctant to sell him in January.
Several other clubs are also keen on signing Ravet, after his impressive performances this season, and the two Premier League sides could face competition.
Hoffenheim, Toulouse and Nice have also registered their interest in Ravet, but a move to the Premier League should be tempting for the Frenchman, both financially and professionally.
It still remains to be seen if the Premier League sides would retain their interest in Ravet until the summer should Young Boys deny him a transfer in January.
Ravet has 14 assists and six goals to his name this season in all competitions, and has a contract until 2019 at Young Boys.
